Here is something that you don't come across every day: an 1897 first-edition of Dracula, signed by author Bram Stoker.
From the eBay listing: "Presentation copy signed by the author, Bram Stoker, to Frank A. Munsey (1854-1925), the great American newspaper and magazine publisher. Inscribed on the book’s publication day: “Frank A. Munsey from Bram Stoker, 22.6.97.” Undoubtedly, Stoker presented the book to Munsey in an unsuccessful hope that Munsey would serialize Dracula in one of his magazines. Munsey’s pulp magazines Argosy, Munsey's Magazine, All-Story Magazine all had distinguished records of printing fantasy fiction."
