Friday the 13th Reboot Finds A Director

According to The Wrap, Paramount (now that they have regained the movie rights) has found a director for it's upcoming reboot of the Friday the 13th Franchise.  The man for the job is David Bruckner.

Bruckner's last directorial outing was in the inaugural edition of horror anthology series V/H/S. He was responsible for the first vingnette in that film, "Amature Night".

The only other thing known for sure right now is the release date of May 13, 2015. However, rumors have circulated that they may take a found footage approach with this installment. While not conclusive, this seems even more likely now that they have tapped a director with found footage experience.

What do you think about the idea of a found footage Friday the 13th?  Should we be rebooting or doing a sequel to 2009's reboot?
