I've got to admit, I'm surprised Slash hasn't gotten into the horror biz until now. The legendary Guns n' Roses guitarist has teamed with Scout Productions to launch Slasher Films, which will focus on "edgy contemporary horror fare with a nod to the thrillers of the '70s and '80s." Hit the jump to learn about their first project.
First up is Nothing to Fear, about a young family who escapes to rural Kansas. It is, of course, no escape, for there is an ancient demon haunting them.
"I've always been a huge horror fan," Slash said in a statement. "Creating films that take you back to the days where horror movies actually scared the hell out of you is something I've always wanted to do."
