There's just one week left before the official release of The Devil You Know, the first album from Black Sabbath veterans Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice... but you don't even have to wait another minute to hear it. Read on below the fold for the whole story!
The entire ten-track album is now available for streaming on VH1.com's The Leak and the physical CD will be available on April 28th from Rhino Records.
But that's just the tip of the evil iceberg: according to fansite Black Sabbath Online, there's also a buttload of special editions to choose from.
The various album incarnations range from laser-etched vinyl (with an accompanying poster), which should be available in mid-May, to a Best Buy edition with a companion DVD containing interviews and studio footage... and for the timid among you, there's even a “safe” version of the album cover, which isn't nearly as drop-dead awesome as the original art but is still pretty stylish, and features the Black Sabbath devil logo.
There's even an alternate downloadable version that will be available only through iTunes, featuring two previously unreleased live tracks from Heaven & Hell's 2007 European tour.
But don't waste too much time mulling over which version's worth shelling out your hard-earned scratch – go stream the free tunes while they're still there!
