Iced Earth Preview 'Wicked' Live DVD

Power-metal heroes Iced Earth have been teasing the arrival of their massive new concert DVD Festivals of the Wicked since last winter... and as we finally get down to the last month or so before it reaches North America, they've thrown us another meaty bone in the form of a two-minute trailer previewing the contents of this epic offering. The trailer, cover art and more details lie below, so hit the jump and behold...

Festivals contains footage from three of the band's headlining shows, including Germany's Wacken Open Air 2007 (with the legendary Tim "Ripper" Owens on lead vocals) and two fests from 2008: Germay's Rock Hard Festival and Slovenia's Metalcamp, both shows with Matt Barlow on lead vocals (he's now retired from the band, replaced by Stu Block of Into Eternity).

The total live package weighs in at more than 40 songs, including fan faves like "Burning Times," "Dark Saga," and the band's own anthem "Iced Earth." On top of that, the DVD also includes a feature-length documentary and a photo gallery by rock photographer Ross Halfin, bringing the total running time to nearly six hours.

Festivals of the Wicked will reach US shores on July 12th. In the meantime, check out the new trailer:
