ICP Ready to Go BANG! POW! BOOM!

The Detroit-based horror hip-hop team of Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope – better known as Insane Clown Posse – are poised to launch a new audio massacre on willing victims in the form of their new CD Bang! Pow! Boom! We've got a downloadable sneak preview of the album after the jump, as well as a little visual taste of the carnage to come... so grab your favorite Faygo flavor, click to the other side and unleash the Juggalo within!

Scheduled for release on September 1st, Bang! Pow! Boom! will be the tenth full-length release in the chart-busting duo's nearly 20-year history, following in the very large footsteps of hit records like The Great Milenko and The Amazing Jeckel Brothers. It also marks the full-on return of ICP producer Mike E. Clark to The Funhouse Studio (Clark had been sidelined with health problems for several years and could only contribute part-time to previous release The Tempest). According to label Psychopathic Records, the new CD will mark a return to the classic “Dark Carnival” sound, with confirmed tracks including “The Bone,” “Chop-Chop Slide,” and “I Found a Body.”

Shaggy summed up the album in a recent issue of Psychopathic's journal “The Hatchet Herald,” saying that playing the album “will straight-up break your neck... your balls might even drop back into your stomach, 'cuz you ain't old enough to be listenin' to it.”

Just to keep you in suspense for the next couple of months, we just got a hold of a hysterically twisted mp3 sampler of the album that you can download at this link, and you can also watch this excerpt from the video Behind the Hatchet, which details the long and violent history of the horror hip-hop madmen...
