I've always thought Scout Taylor-Compton and Tyler Mane deserved a better horror film than the Halloween remakes. I'm just not sure that 247°F is that film. But the trailer, which debuted at this week's American Film Market, is definitely worth watching, if only for voiceover narration so cheesey it's hard to believe this thing wasn't intended for Funny or Die.
Here's the film's official description:
"When four friends travel to a lakeside cabin for a carefree weekend, the fun turns into a nightmare when three of them end up locked in a hot sauna. Every minute counts and every degree matters as they fight for their lives in heat that is quickly approaching 247 degrees fahrenheit."
