SD Comic-Con 2012: Indie Film 'Coldwater' Hits the Big Time with Hall H Panel

As part of Comic-Con's Virtual Drive In, three indie genre projects will have panels in the coveted Hall H. One of those films, Coldwater, marks director David Parker's second visit to Hall H. In 2009 he presented The Hills Run Red as part of the Dark Castle panel. “It was an amazing experience, and I am thrilled to get the chance to return to Hall H to give the fans a taste of Coldwater,” said the director.

Coldwater follows Andre, who is "recovering from a recent accident, when he agrees to help his friend Robert by taking over a house-sitting job at an unusual home nestled in the heart of Coldwater Canyon. As the day turns into night, Andre faces strange occurrences that lead him to believe he is not there alone, and someone or something is watching him." In addition to a panel with the director and stars Ivan Djurovic and James Duval, two clips and the theatrical trailer will be revealed, and posters will be given out to attendees.

Coldwater joins Crave (about a crime scene photographer who falls for a murder suspect) and dystopian conspiracy film Branded. The Virtual Drive-In panel takes place Thursday, July 12th at 6:15 in Hall H.
