Injustice: Gods Among Us already sounded like a fighting fan's dream game, boasting a slew of DC Comics characters--including hulking undead brute Solomon Grundy--all facing off against each other under the development of Mortal Kombat helmers Netherrealm Studios. Now that dream is becoming more of a reality with the full gameplay trailer revealed at SDCC (imagine that), that showcases not only the gameplay, but two more characters for the game's well-rounded roster.
Who are the two new combatants? First, we've got Cyborg, a cyborg (natch)whose bionic body bristles with high-powered weaponry. Second, we've got ex-Robin Nightwing, who brings his twin staffs and an overwhelming desire to escape Batman's shadow into the fray.
The gameplay looks like, well, Mortal Kombat, but with Netherrealm-ified DC characters instead of the usual Kombatants, and some appropriately super combos (Flash runs around the goddamn world to punch somebody) that have taken the place of MK's brutal x-ray moves.
Injustice: Gods Among Us will be released in 2013 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii U.
