Well, we've got another one to add to our quickly growing 'gross things found in salad' archives here on FEARNET, which began when a Florida woman discovered worms in her fast food salad, and continued when a New York woman spotted a dead frog amongst her leafy greens. What's the only thing worse than chowing down on worms and a frog? How about a severed lizard head?!

The NY Post reports that 31-year-old theatrical agent Robin Sandusky ordered a kale salad from a Hell's Kitchen deli in Manhattan this past Tuesday, as she's done every day for the past two weeks. Only this time, there was a surprise waiting for her inside, which she initially thought was a misplaced vegetable. "It was the craziest thing," said the woman. "After a few bites, I look down at my fork, and think, ‘Oh, is that a piece of asparagus?’ And then I saw that it had eyes, and an arm."

Sandusky sent the salad back to the deli, where the manager was quite shocked by what was found in it. "I’ve never even seen a lizard in New York!," he said, which certainly makes you wonder how the hell the unpleasant ingredient found its way into the salad!
