Silent House, the upcoming chiller about a young woman trapped and terrorized in her family's vacation home, looks like it'll be just as chilling as La Casa Muda, the Spanish-language film on which it's based. Starring Elizabeth Olsen, Silent House is due in theaters on March 9th, but you don't have to wait that long for a taste of its terror -- thanks to a new online feature that just launched. Details after the jump.
Check out this new Silent House online feature, which, like the film, proves "we all all have secrets." When activated, your Facebook info is dropped into a continuous take from the movie. "The end result," we're told, "includes a bunch of deep, dark internet secrets, and users can add in their own secret anonymously as well."
Here's the official synopsis for the film: "Silent House is a uniquely unsettling horror thriller starring Elizabeth Olsen as Sarah, a young woman who finds herself sealed inside her family's secluded lake house. With no contact to the outside world, and no way out, panic turns to terror as events become increasingly ominous in and around the house. Directed by filmmaking duo Chris Kentis and Laura Lau, Silent House uses meticulous camera choreography to take the audience on a tension-filled, real time journey, experienced in a single uninterrupted shot."
