Six Days of ‘Resident Evil 6’—Day 6: No Hope Left

 

Today finally marks the release of Resident Evil 6, the latest in Capcom’s classic survival horror series.  Join us for six days of ghouls, guns, and gore as we count down the days, right here at FEARnet!

Resident Evil 6 has the largest scope of any game in the series, spreading the new C-Virus contagion from America to the Eastern European country of Eldonia all the way to the densely populated China, in a full blown epidemic that makes the Raccoon City Incident look like a case of the flu going around a preschool.

This global devastation was outlined in the “No Hope Left” viral campaign, which shows just how the global population copes with the destructive pandemic.

 

The C-Virus outbreak that underlies Resident Evil 6 is not your typical zombie apocalypse, though.  The virus works incredibly fast, leaving little time for its victims to react to their imminent infection.  The resulting infected are fast and vicious, and the extra violent J’Avo strain has the ability to mutate to respond to injury and become even more dangerous than before.
