It's Thursday once again, and you know what that means; time to check out some vintage behind the scenes shots from another beloved horror flick. Because it's not just Thursday... it's #ThrowbackThursday, fiends!
Long before Texas Chainsaw 3D sliced its way into theaters at the start of last year, giving us a direct sequel to the 1974 classic that introduced us to Leatherface and his razor-toothed best friend, Tobe Hooper made a sequel of his own, which saw release in 1986. While the comedic approach of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Part 2 confused critics and fans alike at the time of its release, the oddball sequel has gone on to develop a massive fan following in more recent years, to the point that it can often be found on lists of the best horror sequels of all time. And rightfully so, says I.
On this first Thursday of 2014, we head back in time to 1986, to hang out with Leatherface, Chop Top and the gang on the set of the original Chainsaw sequel. Come along with me, won't you?!
