Two More Added to 'Bates Motel'

Bates Motel, A&E's upcoming TV "prequel" to Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho, claims two new victims.

Nestor Carbonell has signed on to play the sinister Sheriff Royce Romero. Mike Vogel will play his deputy, Zach Shelby, who is described as a sociopath. Carbonell most recently appeared in The Dark Knight trilogy, while Vogel will be familiar to genre fans from his work in Cloverfield and Open Graves.

Bates Motel stars Freddie Highmore as Norman Bates, going through his formative years as a high school student. Vera Farmiga will play his mother, Norma, in a role that Hitchcock cast with a skeleton.
