Heeeeere's Freddy!
It's you first really good look at Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger in the Platinum Dunes reboot of Wes Craven's classic A Nightmare on Elm Street and it's in toy form! Rest assured, having seen the make-up in person, this is as faithful a recreation as I could imagine. What you see here is pretty much how it's going to look in the film. Figures.com spoke with NECA's Head of Product Development Randy Falk about the new line of toys. Falk tells them 'We are working on figures from the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street and at least two figures will be out for the release of the film with possibly more to follow. We have also begun work on a definitive classic original ANOES Freddy to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Elm Street franchise. There will be more news on both Jason and Freddy come Toy Fair.' Good stuff. NECA also has the rights to the new Clash of the Titans.
The A Nightmare on Elm Street reboot hits theaters April 30, 2010.
