New 'SAW II: Flesh & Blood' Game/Concept Pics & Release Date
Today we have several new, never before seen game character and concept art images from the upcoming video game SAW II: Flesh & Blood. Tobin Bell returns to voice the character of Jigsaw in the game which hits shelves October 19th. Check out the new pics below.
SAW II: Flesh & Blood invites players back into Jigsaw's twisted world in an entirely new storyline that takes place between the first and second film. This time around, players are put in the shoes of Detective Tapp's estranged son Michael, who has been captured by Jigsaw after betraying his father. As the game evolves, players will face mind-bending puzzles, as they navigate their way through Jigsaw's terrifying world, and defend themselves against his minions. And of course, players must survive a new collection of stomach-twisting traps such as "Elevator Music," which chains victims to an elevator that will tear their bodies in half if they fail to solve three sets of puzzles before time runs out.
KONAMI today announced that SAW II: Flesh & Blood will be available at retail stores nationwide on October 19 for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, just in time for the release of Saw VII 3DThe images reveal newly created deadly traps that challenge the player to think fast under pressure. Zombie Studios Producer, John Williamson, shares the vision for the game, "Just the silhouette of the character in the trap had to make the viewer uncomfortable. You had to know instantly that something bad was going to happen to this person if you didn't get them out." A look at the intense and detailed environments were also revealed to show the mysterious, detailed levels one can expect in this year's release. SAW II: Flesh & Blood threatens sanity with new stomach-twisting traps and puzzles, more visceral combat, and an all-new storyline that takes place between the first and second movies. Gamers take on the role of Detective Tapp's estranged son, Michael, who is trying to understand his father's death. As players navigate their way through Jigsaw's terrifying world, they will face mind-bending puzzles and must defend themselves against the minions Jigsaw has placed in their path. In order to escape Jigsaw's games, players must use their intelligence and desire to live in order to survive.
