This upcoming month, there are two interesting genre titles playing on FEARNET that you should take note of; 'Eden Lake' and 'Dahmer.' Why? Because they both represent early movies for actors that have proved to be outstanding performers in the arts long before they honed their craft. So it got me thinking about other examples of successful stars you may have totally forgotten were in genre films.

In honor of the Blu-Ray/DVD release tomorrow, we now present to you the entire opening 10 minutes of 'Evil Dead!' Based on Sam Raimi's 1981 cult classic, five friends head to a remote cabin, where the discovery of a Book of the Dead leads them to unwittingly summon up demons living in the nearby woods. The evil presence possesses them until only one is left to fight for survival.
Evil Dead was Bruce Campbell's first film, so you may be asking, "what could have come before?"
