Whats your favorite Ring movie?

I agree 100 with the above statement.

rasen was my favorite, i got that movie back when it was called spiral, it make me feel a little special sometimes.

probably a tie between ringu and the american version. agree with the above posting about the quality of the american version. but i felt like the story in ringu had a little more detail that i liked.

I've yet to see the Ring Virus or 0 (though I own the latter), however my favorite film so far is the original. It was just a masterpiece of atmosphere in my opinion, I especially loved the scenes on the island. It's a shame that they wrote Rasen out of the movie continuity, as we probably won't see a Loop movie now (though I've still yet to manage to get a copy of the book --).

The Korean Ring Virus was only faithful enough to the book to make it different from the Japanese version, which originated the idea of the hero being female instead of male, as in the novel, and the ghost coming out of the TV. I like Ring 0 for it's character development, and I like Ringu for it's originality, and the American version for its production values and respect for the source material.
