Ok, just taking a step into the bizarre. If you could plan it out your funeral, what music and songs would you want played for you own funeral? Anything you would want, you get. What are they going to do, argue. For me it would be 'Going Home' from Rocky Horror,

When my dad died we played that Enya or Enigma (?) "Return To Innocence" and "Only Time (better known as the WTC song), for the indoor part of the wake. There were other cool songs too but once we were outside going to the send off (to the cemetary), it was a L.A. New Orleans style blasting Lou Vega's Mumbo #5 and Mystickal "Bouncing Back" along with a live jazz band.

Hmmm let me think a minute. Well Guns & Roses Knocking on Heveans Door or AC/DC Highway to Hell. Not sure maybe I'll have them play both.

Glad to see I got some good responses here and got people thinking about this. I am glad to see that My Way by Sinatra was not on here. That song just gets so overused. Keep them coming for other ideas. I love the Slaughter song. That is a really nice one.

I've thought a lot about my funeral and me being not a very serious person I want a ridiculous funeral with ridiculous music played. It would really be more like a funny funeral playlist. I can't help but want to offend some people too. I would at least want Judith by A Perfect Circle played, along with something by The Eagles of Death Metal. And just to blow people's minds Dust in the Wind.

I could care less as long as it's not "Wind beneath my wings" by Bette Midler. That song played for two hours during my brother's wake...I got to pick the songs played during the actual service which were "Angel's Son" by Sevendust, "World so Cold" by Mudvayne, and a song that him and his friends made a few months prior.
I guess I would like "Creep" by Radiohead!
So if we could permanently remove "Wind Beneath My Wings" from existence...that would be great!!
