Favourite 50's horror films?

Forums:

Unfortunately, I was not around to experience the b-movie phenomenon of the 40's-50's. The movies of this time were some of the cheesiest, silliest, all-round funnest movies to experience. It was an era of UFO's, Atomic Radiation and giant-mutated creatures. Anything goes in these films. And thats what made them great. Did anyone have a favorite? Mine was House on Haunted Hill (1959). It starred Vincent Price and some scenes still scare the living hell outta me.

Which Movie Would You Remake?

Forums:

We all know that most remakes suck. I don't know why people insist on remaking movies that already kick ass. They should remake the shitty ones. Last night I was watching some of the William Castle movies on Fearnet and thought that The Tingler and Mr. Sardonicus could be great if remade correctly.

     Any other ideas??

School of Fear

Forums:

Warning: This post contains FEARnet.com site whoring

I know there are many people here that don't often get to the non community member blogs we post on the site, but I wanted to point this one out because, quite simply, I liked it and I think many of you will as well.

Drew Daywalt writes a weekly(ish) blog for us that I always find interesting, but I enjoyed this latest one because it talked about 5 old old old school horror movies, 3 of which I had not heard of let alone seen.
